Why did Cody Dahl say “Padgett Calgary Really Stepped Up”?
My wife and I own a small retail business working in the store full-time. We were busy and needed help with setting up the new software so we could get organized with our books. We didn’t know what needed to be set up for the software to do all the things we expected it to do for us and luckily found an accountant who promised to help us. The accountant requested numerous items such as bank statements, client list, credit card statements, vendor invoices, etc. and told us that the accounting software we had purchased was the wrong one. We then purchased another accounting package and the accountant went away with our financial information.
Months went by and even though the accountant had worked on setting up our books, we weren’t sure what it was that he actually did. After several requests to see the finished product, the accountant came back with a bill of $800 and threatened to not return our financial information unless we paid the bill. Since I didn’t understand what he did to earn that money, I refused to pay.
I ended up taking the accountant to court as I felt misled. I lost the court case and with the court costs, the software I didn’t need, and a bill for things that were meaningless, I was $2000 out of pocket and very skeptical of trusting another accountant.
Months later I met Daniela Hops with Padgett Business Services. She met with me for a free assessment asking what my needs are and how Padgett can help. She explained in detail what Padgett’s expectation from their clients is and what the client can expect from Padgett Business Services. Now, she provides me with consistent monthly financial statements that matter and make sense, at an affordable monthly fee.
I have now been with Padgett Business Services since and my sales have increased by 33% in the following year with three employees on payroll.
